This is a practical summary of how StrucNest currently handles account and job information.
Account and job information
StrucNest stores your name, email address, company details and a password hash for account access. When you are signed in, saved jobs, material lists, NC data, merchant lengths and workshop stock are held in the application's PostgreSQL database and associated with your company workspace.
Browser storage
A session cookie keeps you signed in. Browser storage is also used for local job previews and recovery of unsaved changes. Avoid shared browser profiles for confidential work, and sign out when you finish on a shared computer.
Activity and administration
The application records account and job activity, including sign-ins, recent usage and administrative actions. Authorised platform administrators can review user and activity records, suspend accounts and revoke sessions.
Service providers
The hosted application runs on Railway. When account email is enabled, Resend receives the recipient's email address and a single-use signup link to deliver the invitation email. This home page does not add advertising trackers or analytics services.
Your files and exports
Job exports can include original NC files and detailed fabrication information. Share these only with authorised recipients. Keep your source drawings and reports, and retain your own copies of exported plans.
Before fabrication
Cutting plans and processing schedules are planning aids, not engineering approval or machine instructions. Check imported quantities, grades, dimensions, end angles, allowances and stock availability against the approved drawings. Your fabricator or beam processor must confirm the final manufacturing details before cutting.
