Can I use my material reports?
Yes. Upload a parts or member report in XLS or XLSX format. StrucNest imports item numbers, quantities, profiles, grades and lengths, leaving unrelated report columns out. Review the imported items and any validation messages before planning.
Are angled cuts included?
NC files can supply the angles at each end of a member. These are shown on cutting lists, with allowances for finishing the ends. Notches, holes and other contours belong in the beam-processing reports. Shared mitre cuts and interlocking parts are not supported; confirm complex geometry with your processor.
What can I send to a beam processor?
Export a job package with the original NC files, a quantity schedule and processing reports. It includes available hole and contour details for quoting. The processor must confirm machine suitability, notch interpretation and final operation counts before fabrication.
Where are my jobs saved?
When signed in, jobs and workshop stock are saved to your company's online workspace. You can reopen and change jobs, and export cutting plans and reports. New accounts include a sample job to explore the workflow.
How do I create an account?
Select Sign up and enter your invited email address. Open the single-use link sent to your inbox to create your account. Access is invitation-only at present; contact the person who invited you if you need access.
